If you're in for functional architecture and programming, you've a heart for Lisp (Clojure) and try to mimik idempotence in Javascript; if you try hard to think first about the essence before joining in the next dependency, when you know how to model complex domains, when you like your software to move physical things, when you're fine to work with a diverse team remotely, when you embrace your freedom and love to think, spread the word about you, the things you do and the world - then you are the woman/man that should join us.
rocklog - the company
rocklog Limited is privately held software company, no venture capital buy-in, we go for the long run and try our best to create supply chain management software that is simple, yet elegant, and always fast. Our SaaS planet rocklog powers supply chains and acts an integration platform for a diverse crowd - so we are boutique. We help those that are seeking for transparent pricing, no trap-ins and whose business model does not fit the mainstream.
our customers
many charity organisations, chemical industries, food industry, service industry, retail
our stack
Clojure on the server-side from top-to-bottom, MongoDB, CouchDB, STM-based database and therefor programming model that kicks ass, Latex, Javascript/Typescript on the client-side, Mithril.js, D3.js, Docker, Multivendor Cloud, CircleCI
we try to stick away from buzzwords - true innovation is rare, we prefer functional thinking and programming, scratching our head twice before introducing dependencies, we struggle and most of the time - we succeed
